Shaykh Hamza Yusuf in the company of Shaykh Ahmad Mushhur al Haddad; relates,
"In one blessed gathering held by the Shaykh, May Allah be Pleased with him, he told me that now is the age of hawsat. I did not know the meaning of this word and asked him what it meant.
He replied, "mental instability as a result of leaving the rememberance of Allah".

The Prophet (saw) said:
"Honey is a remedy for every illness and the Qur'an is a remedy for all illness of the mind, therefore I recommend to you both remedies, the Qur'an and honey."
(Sahih Bukhari)
The Quran is the key....how well this ties in with the previous post.
